INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g of already cooked chickpeas (you can cook them at home or buy them already cooked, even canned)
  • 1/4 white onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parsley

Time needed 30 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • The onion is put in the pan with a cup of chickpea cooking water and 1 clove of garlic, 1 sprig of rosemary are added and cooked.
  • When the onion is cooked, add the chickpeas and let them season for cira 10-15 minutes, possibly adding some more cooking water.
  • At this point you take the blender and blend everything: chickpeas, onion, garlic and lemon juice. If it turns out a little dry, you add a little cooking liquid.
  • A clump of parsley is chopped and added, a pinch of pepper is also put in, and it is ready.
  • At the time of serving, you can add finely chopped fresh rosemary and half a clove of garlic.
  • Turn everything over and it’s ready.

Very good with toasted bread.
