INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 orange
  • Half a lemon
  • 1 sachet of saffron
  • Half a glass of 0.1% milk
  • A little white wine
  • A small piece of ginger
  • 2 white onions
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • A few parsley leaves (optional)

Preparation time: About 45 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Thinly slice the onion and ginger and sauté them in a pan with white wine (and optional MCT oil). They should cook and “brown.”
  • Also cook the chicken slices in a non-stick pan with some white wine and MCT oil (optional) until golden brown.
  • Once cooked, add the chicken to the onions and add the juice of the grapefruit, orange, and half the lemon. Stir and let it reduce.
  • Dissolve a tablespoon of flour in half a glass of milk, add the saffron, and pour it over the chicken. Let it cook for a few more minutes, and it’s ready.
  • Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle over the chicken (optional).

This dish pairs wonderfully with plain rice, which can be cooked separately with water and a small piece of lemon peel.
