INGREDIENTS

  • 400-500 gr veal
  • 3 red onions
  • 2-3 spoons of tomato sauce
  • paprika
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • white wine
  • For mashed potatoes: 2-3 potatoes, 1 glass of milk 0,1 % fat  and nutmeg (optional)

Cooking time: 1 hour

INSTRUCTIONS

  • After trimming the fat off the meat, cut into pieces and put them into a non stick pan with garlic, the onions cut in rings and paprika.
  • Cover and let it cook for 30 minutes. As the onions wilt and brown, add white wine if needed. After setting the meat aside put the onions in the food processor and pulse a few times until they become a cream.
  • Add tomatoes and the meat. Let it season for about 10 minutes.
  • If desidered you can add some peas earlier boiled in the microwave oven then take the peas and cook them together with the meat, tomato and onions

P.S.: This dish is even better with our fat-free mashed potatoes. Mash the potatoes and pour milk stirring frequently. Adding nutmeg at the end could be ideal.
